The Colony of Storm often used recipes from other colonies when trading during winter and fall, while turning to their territory's prey during the warmer seasons. Land prey was (and still is) sparse, making fish one of the only reliable sources of meat within the Colony of Storm's lands.

Lucky Head Stew - Whole fish that are cut and put into a spicy soup, head and organs included. The soup is thickened with blood. The name comes from the tradition that whoever gets the fish's head in their bowl is lucky!

Wrapped Shells - Various shellfish, such as mussels or shrimp, are cooked together and put in leaf wraps. It's not a common meal due to the difficulty of catching enough shellfish, but is easy to serve in a settlement or carry while travelling. Other colonies see it as a delicacy, as only the Colony of Storm has access to shellfish.

Fried Fish Eggs - A delicacy, the Colony of Storm often avoids eating fish eggs to let fish populate. Fish eggs are only gotten by already caught or dead fish that are pregnant. The eggs are fried and put on top of celery or meats.

Fermented Fish - Fish that is fermented underground. Normally only fermented for a day or two to prevent predators from stealing them, but there are a few spots where the fish is allowed to ferment for a month. Roasted after being dug up.

Fish Jerky - Dried fish meat, meant to last over the winter. While other colonies dry their meats, the Colony of Storm was the first to invent it, and many prefer it over fresh fish. In the warmer seasons, fish jerky is tossed with other small meats (such as cooked organs or berries) in spicy seasoning and eaten as a snack. Very similar to beetle-berries.
